GMC
In 1911, the General Motors Truck Company was formed to encompass all of GM’s commercial vehicle nameplates and acquisitions. The following year, the name was changed to GMC. Despite heavy overlap with Chevrolet designs, the GMC nameplates have stood the test of time and have a strong following.
