Charger

The Charger was introduced in 1966 as a fastback body style on the B-Body platform. The first design didn’t sell many units but an interesting Hemi model did have good performance. The second generation was more popular with Nascar exposure and went on to be immortalized as the General Lee in The Dukes of Hazzard TV series. The L-Body front-drive compact Chargers of the ’80s have recently seen a popularity comeback and the 2006 re-launch of the model as a sedan has seen huge sales success and SRT and Hellcat models.
